「知ったかアート大学」とは？

大学の名を借りたアート講座です。

アートについてよく分からない、なんだか難しそうという不安を、美術史を解説することや、作品を鑑賞すること、また実際に表現を行うことで解き明かし、多くの人にアートを自分の力で楽しむ観点を広めることを目的としています。

アーティストならではの目線と軽快なトーク、受講者との交流と対話を交えながらの講義を受けることで、いつの間にやらアートについて知ったかぶりになっている、そんな楽しい大学です。

2016年から各地で開学しています。

SHITTAKA Art University

​

SHITTAKA Art University is an art workshop, playfully named “university”. The aim is to take an art history lesson, learn to appreciate artworks, and express yourself through art with the intention of getting past the notion that you ‘aren’t good at art’. We also provide you with insights into art so you can enjoy it on your own. SHITTAKA Art University is a fun university that will make you feel like a “shittaka” (a ‘know-it-all’) after listening to a talk from the unique perspective of an artist and interacting with other participants. Since 2016, workshops have opened in various locations throughout Japan.

１限目：​美術史コース

「知ったか西洋美術史」

約2万年の美術史を、3時間で駆け抜ける、わかった気になる美術史講座。

まずはこちらの講座がおすすめです。​

Workshop 1: Art History 

SHITTAKA Western Art History

Learn the 20,000-year-history of Western Art in 3 hours. Participants will feel like a “know-it-all” after taking this art history lesson. We recommend you start with this class.

２限目：鑑賞コース

「超鑑賞」エクササイズ

「みる」「はなす」「つくる」の３つのワークを通して、参加者の自身の力で鑑賞を楽しめるようになるエクササイズ。

Workshop 2: Art Appreciation 

“Extreme Art Appreciation” Exercise

Through 3 exercises: Viewing, Discussing and Making, participants will learn how to individually enjoy and appreciate artworks.

３限目：複合コース

作ってたどる美術史

美術史の内容を、実際に自身が表現を行いながらなぞる体験型学習。１限目の受講後の実践としておすすめです。

Workshop 3: Consolidating Approaches

Tracing Back Art History through Practice 

participants will create artworks based on the art history previously learned. We recommend you schedule this hands-on workshop after the art history lesson (Workshop 1).
